The Smartelex Single Supply Logic Level Converter combines both logic level and power supply translation in a compact design. Featuring the Texas Instruments TXB0104 4-bit bi-directional voltage-level translator with automatic direction sensing, this board allows you to seamlessly interface a 5V logic microcontroller with 3.3V sensors—without the need for a second power supply.

What sets this converter apart is its ability to operate on just a 3.3V supply, generating the necessary 5V output. This means you can use your 3.3V system to directly power and convert signals for 5V sensors or other boards.

The converter provides 5V to the high side of the TXB0104, while the low side is programmable to 3.3V, 2.5V, or 1.8V. By default, the low side voltage is set to 3.3V.
