The XRotor X8 brushless power system is a power system capable of carrying a load of 5~7kg (per rotor) for agricultural drones. It can provide a thrust of up to 15.3kg and match 30/35mm carbon fiber tube arms. It’s waterproof and dustproof to IPX7 standard and resistant to rainwater, pesticides, salt spray, sand, dust, mud, sandy soil, high temperature, and impact.

It also features the algorithm used for optimizing the FOC ESC & Motor system and making the system more balanced, multiple protections like power-on self-detection, power-on abnormal voltage, over-current, and motor lock-up, and the real-time data output function.

1. Integrated & Ready-to-use Propulsion System: The X8 propulsion system, which integrates the motor, ESC, propeller, and motor mount (with the stock/standard tube adapter, it’s compatible with 30mm&35mm diameter carbon fiber arm tubes) together, is easy to mount and use.

FOC-based PMSM Algorithm Perfect Propulsion System: The FOC (Filed Oriented Control)-based PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) algorithm, an optimized algorithm for improving the collaborative performance of the ESC, motor & propeller, makes the motor-propeller more balanced and creates a propulsion system features high stability, and reliability and efficiency.
3. Compared with the BLDC motors, the PMSM has a lot of advantages such as low noise, small size, high power density, low pulsating torque, and high control precision.
4. Waterproof: The XRotor X8 propulsion system is waterproof to IPX7 standards. It’s applicable to almost all harsh working conditions (for agricultural applications) like rainwater, pesticides, salt spray, high temperature, sand, and dust. Combined with the outlets at the bottom of the motor mount (note: patented design), you can directly rinse the system with fresh water after use.
